Faculty

Tim is a husband, father of four, and associate pastor of discipleship at New West Community Church. Tim is also a founding member, and the President–Academic Dean for New Antioch Institute. Tim has a passion for adult education which has seen him involved in post-secondary education for 15 years. Tim is also a Red Seal Endorsed Plumber, holds a Master’s degree in leadership, and is currently working on an MDiv from Reformed Baptist Seminary.

Executive Director of COMPASS Community Learning Centres, Tracee Horvath is married to Zoltan, a pediatrician in Langley and Abbotsford. Tracee homeschooled their four children, now 19, 19, 20, and 25. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Communications and a Master’s in Theological/Biblical Studies. She completed the Professional Development Program for High School Teaching at Simon Fraser University. In addition to homeschooling, Tracee has taught at Richmond Christian, Anselm Academy, Moffat Bible College in Kenya, and COMPASS Christian Cedar Grove.

Garry is the pastor at Christ Covenant Church (PCA), Langley, BC, a congregation he helped plant in 1999. His passion is teaching the Bible, helping his students see how all of Scripture points to and reveals the person and work of Christ. He has been married for 30 years and has 6 children and 6 grandchildren.  Education: BA Waterloo, MDiv Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, graduate studies ACTS
